IS THERE OPTIMISM FOR UK PROPERTY MARKET?

Is There Optimism For UK Property Market?

Having confidence is a big thing in life but when it comes to the property market, confidence is a very important thing to have. This is why so many people look to the property market specialists in an attempt to determine what the future is likely to hold. If the key specialists in the market are confident, many people will take their lead from these specialists and will decide to make a move in the property market. If some of the specialists cast doubt on the market, you will find that a lot of people will hold off from making a move.

Given the importance of the property market and the huge sums of money involved, it is no surprise to learn that many people are keen to seek out as much advice or guidance as possible. If you are interested in making a move in the Stockport property market, you will find that we are here to help. At Spencer Harvey, we work hard to ensure you receive the best standard of support and guidance, no matter what you are looking for in the local property market in Stockport.

However, we know that many people look to the experts across the country to get a feel for the general mood of the UK property market and a recent survey suggests things are looking okay at the moment. You may not personally believe this, but a survey undertaken amongst property professionals, focusing on the state of the UK real estate market, says that things are on the up. The stated level of confidence amongst property specialists and professionals is double the level of a year ago.

Optimism may be on the rise in the property market

It has of course been a long year in the UK property market and while Brexit still looms over us, the threat of Brexit a year ago was much stronger than it is today. Yes, we don’t know the full extent of what will happen when we leave the European Union but in the aftermath of the vote in 2016, there was a great deal of negativity. At the moment, this negativity hasn’t really came to anything, and this means people are not as worried as they previously were about the UK property market and the impact of Brexit.

Of course, looking at the figures, you maybe don’t want to get carried away too soon. While the number of professionals who are positive about the UK market has doubled in the past year, only 29% of the professionals, including agents, developers and investors, said they were optimistic about the market. Then again, only 23% of people said they were pessimistic, which is a big improvement on the 63% who were pessimistic at this time last year.

Many different issues impact on the UK and Stockport property market and if you want to discuss any of these matters, we are more than happy to help.
